BCCS: Who Can Apply
You may qualify for free breast or cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services if you:
- Live in Texas.
- Are a woman 18 or older.
- Don't have health insurance or are underinsured.
- Make less than the monthly family income limit in the table below.

Medicaid for Breast and Cervical Cancer
If you have been diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer and don’t have health insurance that will pay for your treatment, you may be able to receive Medicaid for Breast and Cervical Cancer (MBCC).
You may qualify for MBCC if you:
- Live in Texas
- Are a woman 18-64
- Don’t have health insurance
- Make less than the monthly family income limit in the table above
- Are a U.S. citizen or an eligible immigrant
- Have been diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer
- Need treatment for breast or cervical cancer
