Family Planning Program Provider Resources
The Family Planning Program helps fund clinic sites across the state to provide high-quality, comprehensive, low-cost, accessible family planning and reproductive healthcare services to women and men in Texas. These services help people determine the number and spacing of their children, reduce unintended pregnancies, improve future pregnancy- and birth-outcomes and improve general health.
Grantees participating in the Family Planning Program can access information regarding policies, billing forms and more online at:
- Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) – Family Planning Program
- Family Planning Program Policy Manual
- Optional Co-Pay Table Based On Monthly Federal Poverty Level
- Responsibilities for Treatment of Minors within the Family Planning Program and Healthy Texas Women Program (PDF): A resource for providers on policies and procedures specific to the provision of services to minor clients.
- The Texas LARC Toolkit (PDF): Texas Medicaid Policy on Providing Long-Acting Reversible Contraception Services
- The Texas Clinician’s Postpartum Depression Tool Kit (PDF): A resource for Texas clinicians for screening, diagnosis, and treatment of postpartum depression (PPD). The tool kit includes coverage and reimbursement options for PPD services through Medicaid, CHIP, the Healthy Texas Women program, the Family Planning Program and other referral options.
